Article and Conjunction BBIHebrew Grammar I Section 5.1 - Introduction Three types of definite nouns • Those with definite article: %l,M,ñh; • Proper Nouns: ~yIr:ñc.mi • Nouns with possessive pronoun: ybia' Important because later we’ll learn about how Hebrew words can be linked together. When that happens, all nouns are definite if last noun is definite. For example: ~yIr:ñc.mi %l,m,ñ= “The king of Egypt” For now, we’ll focus on nouns with the definite article.
