Agency Requirements • Provides digital picture and detail description • Provides Custodian for inspection and pickup • Coordinates with GSA Office on reserve/upset prices • GSA does the rest!!
GSA Does the Rest • Prepares auction listing and posts the information to the site • Previews certain property as featured items to establish customer base • Collects proceeds • Ensures financial and property line item accountability • Performs contract administration • Schedules removal of property
Upset Price/Time Frames • Upset price is the lowest price the agency is willing to accept • If upset is not met (GSA will contact you with highest bid) • Our time frame for online sales is usually 7 days
Custodial Duties • Provides the following: • Contact information • Property location • Inspection dates and times • Special requirements for removal
