Social Studies Interactive Notebook ( 5 subject Notebook) A collection of graphic organizers and illustrations that will teach note taking techniques of the big ideas in the Social Studies Units. Assessment 80% - reflect a student’s performance in common assessments, selected notebook pages and long-term projects. 20% - reflect a student’s performance on short-term assignments, notebooks, homework.

Special Education The special education program at Haverford Middle School includes a variety of programs and services to meet the varied needs of students who have been identified as exceptional. The goal is to educate students in the least restrictive environment. The curriculum is the same as the general education curriculum. The materials used are supplemented in order work more intensely on specific skills.
Special Education Language Arts • Language Circle: Linguistics • Language Circle: Framing Your Thoughts • Read Naturally Math • Smaller groupings allow for slower paced instruction, additional practice, and individualized attention. • Curricular materials are adapted to meet students’ unique needs.
