Word Choice. Admittedly, we are a country in want of instant gratification – in every situation, for every issue. However, this does not warrant the misuse and abuse of medication by medical professionals nationwide – be they psychiatrists, pediatricians, or family physicians.

Admittedly, we are a country in want of instant gratification – in every situation, for every issue. However, this does not warrant the misuse and abuse of medication by medical professionals nationwide – be they psychiatrists, pediatricians, or family physicians. Our country just wants everything right away. But that shouldn’t mean that doctors should just give pills out
Hurdles such as time constraints and money limitations must be dealt with appropriately. A physician should not issue a prescription and send a patient on their way, nor should they succumb to the demands of an uninformed, prospective patron. Even though they are in a hurry and it costs big bucks, you still have to do the right thing. A doctor can’t just write a prescription and say good-bye, or just do what the patient asks.
