2010 - 2011 Synchronous A-Synchronous • Workplace & Apprenticeship 10 (Semester I) • Star City to Gronlid • Z.P. to Arborfield & Bjorkdale • Foundations & Pre-Calculus 10 (Semester II) • Star City to Gronlid • Z.P. to Arborfield & Bjorkdale • Workplace & Apprenticeship 10 (Semester II) • The NESD will develop and deliver to varied clientele for entire division including Storefronts.
A-Synchronous 2011 - 2012 Synchronous W&A 10: 2 sections (Sem I) FPC 10: 2 sections (Sem II) F 20: 2 sections (Sem I) W&A 20: 1 section (Sem II) PC 20: 1 section (Sem II) • W&A 10: 1 section (Sem II) • FPC 10: 1 section (Sem II) to be developed in Sem I • W&A 20, F 20 & PC 20 • The NESD will develop during Sem I and deliver in Sem II
A-Synchronous 2012 - 2013 Synchronous W&A 10: 2 sections (Sem I) FPC 10: 2 sections (Sem II) F 20: 2 sections (Sem I) W&A 20: 1 section (Sem II) PC 20: 1 section (Sem II) PC 30: 1 section (Sem I) F 20: 1 section (Sem II) Calc 30: 1 section (Sem II) • W&A 10: 1 section (Sem II) • FPC 10: 1 section (Sem II) to be developed in Sem I • W&A 20, F 20 & PC 20 (Sem II) • W&A 30, F 30 & PC 30 • The NESD will develop during Sem I and deliver in Sem II
A-SynchronousWho can take these courses? • Students not completing their credits through traditional instruction. • Students from schools not offering a particular course through face-to-face instruction. • Storefront students. • Transferring students. • These could include students from any of the schools within the NESD.
SynchronousWho can take these courses? • Students from the 5 e-learning schools (Arborfield, Bjorkdale, Gronlid, Star City, Zenon Park) will be given first priority. • Students from schools not offering a particular course through traditional face-to-face instruction. • These could include students from any of the other schools within the NESD.
Currently – Where are we? • Foundations & Pre-Calculus – be aware that this course may not be suitable for all of your students. • Resources (this year) – all of the resources that the NESD is purchasing for you this year has been purchased and delivered to your school • Resources (next year) – even though three pathways are available for students, the NESD will ONLY purchase two (2) resources per registered student. Your school will determine how many of each resource we will purchase for you. • Three Math Paths. One Important Choice – pamphlet available for your students
