Important facts about Braxton Bragg • Braxton Bragg was born in Warrenton north Carolina. He lived (1817-1876),he fought many different important people. In June of 1845 he and his company were ordered to join general Zachary Taylor's army.
Who Braxton Bragg was associated with • In September 1863 he defeated General William S. Rosecrans at Chickamauga but Ulysses S. Grant defeated him later at missionary ridge.
Childhood • He was often ridiculed as a child because of his mother’s stint in prison. He graduated fifth in class of fifty from the united states military academy in 1837.
Accomplishments • He graduated from the us military academy. In February 1864 he was summoned to Richmond and made military adviser to the president of the confederacy.
