  2. Koala • A koala baby is called a joey. • Koalas are good jumpers and they stretch to reach tree branches. • Koalas eat eucalyptus leaves. LeighAnne

  3. Snakes • A cobra is a very poisonous snake. • Rattlesnakes and copperheads are members of the pit viper family. • Rattlesnakes are ambush hunters. Quinn

  4. Hamster • They have small cheeks and teeth for chewing. • They can be kept as pets. • They need places to play and exercise. Ethan

  5. Horse • They can live up to 20-30 years. • Male horses are called stallions. • They have shorter hair on their bodies than their manes. Nikki

  6. Cheetah • Cubs learn to hunt from their mother. • Mothers catch small animals to start hunting lessons. • Cheetahs are one of the fastest animals on Earth. Emily

  7. Anaconda • They scratch their skin on rocks when their skin is dry. • They are reptiles. • They catch their food by squeezing them. Ally

  8. Cheetah • A cheetah mother has her cubs in about 3 months. • Cheetahs live in Africa, Asia, and India. • Cubs’ fur gets lighter and their spots stand out when they get older. MaKayla

  9. Crocodile • They have soft, smooth skin on their bellies. • Females make nests for their eggs. • Crocodiles can grow from 5 to 21 feet long. Max

  11. Panda bear • Pandas weigh from 200 to 300 pounds. • They can be rust color to deep chestnut with black on the under parts. • They live in trees but feed on the ground. Caleigh

  12. Boa Constrictor • Over 30 kinds of boas are found from Mexico to other parts of South America. • An adult can be 6 to 9 feet long. • Boas kill their prey by squeezing. Devin
