TEAM MANAGEMENT • Team Officials must be listed on an Official HCR Roster - 1 head coach, 2 assistants, 1 HCSP and 1 manager • Copies of team rules and budget given to your Division Manager • Gaming Licenses – notify Treasurer prior to applying for detailed information • Ensure Surrey Minor rules are upheld – team voting, active parent participation etc… • If unsure of protocol, ask your Division Manager • Game changes – very important to notify Division and League Managers ASAP. Failure to do so may incur a fine from PCAHA • Conflict resolution within each team

RISK / SAFETY • HCSP Clinic November 5th Book online at www.bchockey.net • All team officials, coaches, team manager, team parent and anyone else that will be coming in contact with the team members on a regular basis MUST take the Respect in Sport online clinic. (Respect in Sport replaced the Speak Out clinic a few of years ago.) At this time there is no expiry date for Respect in Sport (or for those that have taken the Speak out clinic in the past.) The dead line for this clinic is Dec. 1, 2011 to be in good standing for this season and the future. • Respect in Sport is an online course booked through the BC Hockey site www.bchockey.net - click register now – attend a BC Hockey Clinic – Respect in Sport Registration – and then follow prompts. • You must notify me Sandy, the Risk Manager, with the Name of the HCSP person, the Team Name, Team Number SY#, division and the date the clinic was taken (or will be taken) along with the expiry date of their certificatebefore October 20, 2011. Failure to do so may result in ice times being suspended from Surrey Minor Hockey. • All courses will be reimbursed upon completion and proof of certification.

ICE ALLOCATION • 10 days notice to return ice or they get billed the cost (Have had two give me back their ice the day before) • No one steps on the ice until the scheduled time & absolutely no players allowed on the ice until the coaches are out there. (City is watching this one very carefully) • First practice of the day the dressing rooms are open 30 minutes prior to the ice time, all other ice times 45 minutes prior.
