  2. A Room Parent is the liaison between the school, teachers and the classroom parents. As the Room Parent, you are the “go-to” person for that teacher - BUT you need to enlist help from other parents... don’t try and do it all!

  3. 1st things you need to do… 1.- Be a Broward School registered Volunteer. www.getinvolvedineducation.com/volunteers/application.htm 2.- Register at PTA website www.epe.my-pta.org 3.- Send out next week the Introductory Letter and 1st Collection.

  4. RULES TO FOLLOW • Each class has two (2) Homeroom Parents, ONLY ONE is going to be responsible for collecting all money and presenting an accountability spreadsheet. • Money received for each event is ONLY to be used for those purposes. • Teacher’s gift ONLY gift cards or cash

  5. Rules to follow • You may not just walk into the class at any moment, you have to have an appointment to see your teacher. • Mandatory meeting with your teacher prior a celebration. • ALL foods must be store bought. • Check any allergies in your class.

  6. PTA MANDATORY ACTIVITIES • EAGLE STRUT NOVEMBER 14TH • Field Day Weather permitting • 2ndweek Jan 2015 • 5th grade special Activities.

  7. CLASSROOM CELEBRATIONS • Teacher’s Birthday • Fall Celebration • Thanksgiving • 2ND Grade Around the World • Winter Celebration • Valentine’s Day • Spring • End of the Year
