  4. Based on Savannah State University $2 million Georgia Power bill per year, SSU would use clean renewable energy for approximately 15% of its electricity.

Students thought that the solar parking lot would be a positive addition to our campus. • Majorityof the students were willing to pay more in parking fees to park under the solar panels. • Professor Kim from the mathematics department was concerned about the safety of the solar panels.
