  2. Preparation phase • Roadmap for preparation discussed & endorsed • MoH Council of Directors , JCCC, JCF, JSC, and EC • Core Technical Team established • Proposals to finance the preparation process developed • Data/evidence collection – performance reports, surveys, MTR, …

Zero Draft Development • 1st Top leadership workshop conducted from 29-30 April, 2014: • Reviewed the situation assessment ; • Reaffirmed Mission, Vision, Core Values, Customer Value Proposition, & Perspectives; • Developed draft Strategic Themes & Results; • Defined draft Strategic Objectives and produced draft Sector Strategy Map

Zero draft … • 1stFMoH and Agencies Consultative workshop conducted from 5-7 May, 2014 • Using the top leadership guidance, the workshop: • Reviewed & enriched the situation assessment (SWOT and Stakeholder analysis); • Reiterated Mission, Vision, Core Values; Customer Value Proposition, Strategic Themes & results, and Perspectives; • Discussed on the Strategic Objectives and produced document Objective Commentary; • Developed draft Performance Measures; and • Formulated draft Strategic Initiatives

Zero draft … • HSDP V target setting and costing using OneHealth tool (May 14-22, 2014): • 48 Directors, Officers and TA from FMoH and Agencies trained on OneHealth tool • Trainees populated to the Ethiopian HSDP V project (the OneHealth tool) with activities, evidences and produced draft targets and cost

  6. Next Step • 1st JSC Consultative workshop will be conducted from June 7-8, 2014 • The first draft HSDP V document will be ready for stakeholder consultations: • Details of the consultation work plan will be prepared together with JCCC including plan for JANS

  7. So far, the different documents prepared in consultations with stakeholders are the main inputs for the draft document: • Annual performance reports and MTR • Programme strategic plans – HIV, Malaria, TB, Nutrition, etc • FMoH is grateful for the support from our partners
