It means that only a single user never takes up the available space on a specific drive or partition. This article will help you understand what quotas are for discs?   5. Disk space quotas monitor the available storage space on an NTFS driver or partition. An administrator can limit the amount of information a user can store on the drive or partition by setting quotas.
