MISSION • To enhance the security profession worldwide by enabling leading edge programs to emerge that advance the profession through education, research, and training, . . . and through the awarding of scholarships ensure those pursuing a career in security management are able to realize the highest academic achievements
GOALS • Professionalize and institutionalize the study of security management at the college and university level. • Develop cutting edge programs and educational material to improve Security Management’s body of knowledge. • Promote the Foundation and it’s programs to create synergy of purpose between the Foundation and key stakeholders. • Providing a venue to partners of the Foundation to support, assist and improve the profession. MATCHING SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM Headquarters Chapter 1. Sends out scholarship applications and instructions to the chapters. 2. Selects scholarship winner(s). FOUNDATION 3. Sends winners forms and chapter check to Headquarters 4. Matches the chapter check up to $500. Or matches with $1,000 if recipient is chapter member and in an educational or professional development program. Mails check with chapter amount plus match to chapter 5. RVP can select one winner from his region for an add-on match of $500.
