Major Objectives of NSS are • To develop a sense of civic and social responsibility • To identify the needs in the community and to develop solutions • To work with/among people • To engage in creative and constructive social action
Major Objectives of NSS are…. • To gain skills in programme development for self-employment • To bridge the gulf between the educated and the uneducated masses • To promote the will to serve the weaker section of the community

Prof. Job Joseph former Programme Officer of our College gave the NSS Day Message • Gandhi Jayanthi • Gandhi Jayanthi was celebrated on 2 October 2009. Mr. M Kurian, Gandhi Smaraka Nidhi, addressed the volunteers. • ‘Gandhi’ by Richard Attenborough was screened. • World Aids Day • World Aids Day was celebrated on 1 Dec 2009.A Santhi Yatra was organized in association with the Changanacherry Powra Samiti. • Dr. Stephen Mathews, Principal, Sri.
