Scope – Project Goals This project sought to build sustainable culturally appropriate learning pathways, engaging learners and educators alike in a range of learning experiences including digital story telling, podcasting, video recording and the use of an LMS – Moodle. http://governance.moodle.com.au

Involving Community The project identified that there was a number of challenges that face learners in rural & remote regions including access to online resources and most importantly culturally appropriate re-usable learning resources that have a local flavour http://www.flickr.com/photos/30401041@N06/

  4. Learner’s Feedback Learners of all ages provided audio feedback which provides indicators for the future development of the current & existing Governance Moodle course. There were some surprising differences in opinion & feedback. http://www.edublogs.tv/play_audio.php?audio=157

  5. Project Business Case – Presenting Challenges The project sought to identify, create and use culturally appropriate learning resources whilst in the context of an blended delivery model. The project also sought to identify and establish working relationships with the local Indigenous community that use an online delivery platform and strategic support from key stakeholders that empowers the learners in the process.

  6. Project Outputs • Demonstrated strategic involvement of key stakeholders in the development & embedded use of e-learning with Indigenous communities in the rural & remote regions of NSW Australia. • A comprehensive Case study that provides an example of how toensure sustainability of blended delivery with Indigenous communities in the rural & remote regions of NSW Australia. • Range of digital resources ( available in an open online context ) which demonstrate the active participation of Community members, including learners, in the development of a culturally appropriate learning environment
