  2. What is PlanbookEdu? • An online planbook • A way to save your plans year after year • A way to share plans and collaborate • If you have Internet access, you have PlanbookEdu

  3. Getting Started • Go to www.planbookedu.com • Set up your account to begin a 14-day trial version • Pick a username and password • Bookmark the site • Set up your first planbook

  4. Create a New Planbook MENU! Type a name for your Planbook Select a start date Select an end date Decide how many classes/ preps you want to use Check which standards you would like to use if any

  5. Continued… Rotation can be weekly or A/B day Must click first to show advanced options Select a title for each week Select a title for each day Choose to have days horizontal or vertical Checking this box gives the option of a class title Choose your days Always save when you make changes

  6. Begin Your Plans • You can add holidays and other “off days”

  7. Begin Your Plans • Go to your calendar view and choose your week

  8. Begin Your Plans • Edit each day’s plans by double clicking in each day or clicking the “edit button”

  11. Setting up a Template • You can set up a lesson plan template for daily use lesson template Holidays!

  12. Setting up a Template • Change your template frequency Change how often the template appears Design your template

  13. Important Note! • After designing a template, be careful with your plans! • The days will be set up to continue as a template, so you have to change the setting to show ONCE • The trick around having to change it is by double clicking on your lesson day for a quick edit

  14. Printing/Saving • You can print your lesson plans and/or save them in multiple formats Print/Save button at the top of each week

  15. Printing/Saving • Choose your print/save style Print directly from PlanbookEDU, export to Word so you can edit and save, or export as a PDF Choose a one-page or two-page layout

  16. Copying and Saving • You can copy your entire planbook for the following year • There is a new bump feature for snow days or sick days when your life does not go as planned  • PlanbookEdu wants feedback and suggestions!

  17. Sharing Your Planbook • Sharing allows you to share just a “view” link with your students • Students will not be able to edit from this view • Use the following steps to share your book: (click next)

  18. Sharing Your Planbook • Click on the Share tab on the top menu You will choose who to share your planbook with or share with an entire class

  19. Sharing Your Planbook Choose your planbook to share Choose your start and end dates for sharing Decide if your sharing expires CHANGE YOUR ACCESS TO OPEN Send yourself an email if you want to make sure the link works
