The Infinitive Construct • It is not inflected for person, gender, or number (they are inflected for tense and stem). • It looks like the Qal Imperative 2ms when used with strong verbs (and often with weak verbs, too). • Though the stem is not inflected, it can appear with a pronominal suffix that functions as either the subject or object of the verb.
