  3. What are the Center’s Hours of Operation? 7:00 am- 6:00 Monday-Friday

  4. What are the Center’s Observed Holidays? • Thanksgiving Day • Friday after Thanksgiving • Christmas Eve • Christmas • New Year’s Day • Good Friday (Friday Preceding Easter) • Memorial Day • Independence Day • Labor Day

  5. Are transportation services provided? Only for school-aged children who attend the after school program.

  6. What are the pick-up schools? • Chamberlayne • Dumbarton • Glen Allen • Greenwood • Holladay • Johnson • Lakeside • Maude Trevvett • Brookland Middle (up to 12 years only) • Moody Middle (up to 12 years only) Elementary Middle

  7. Is the Center licensed? Yes, by Department of Social Services in the Commonwealth of Virginia.

  8. Is there opportunity for the children to experience Worship? • During the summer, weekly chapel is provided on a flexible basis. • During the Fall and Winter-Weekly chapel at 9:15 on Wednesdays.

  9. Curriculum is developed by the Day Care Director and incorporates the Wee Learn Series and includes Bible Study. Wee Learn Curriculum Guide, Baptist Press, Nashville, TN Which curriculum is used for instruction?

  10. What Programs are Offered? Infants, Creepers, Twos(both younger and older), Toddlers, Pre-School, Pre-Kindergarten & School Age

  11. What activities are offered? • Music • Art • Dramatic Play • Indoor & Outdoor Play • Stories • Puzzles • Games • Other Areas of Creative Expression

  12. Are Meals Provided? Yes, Breakfast, Snack, Lunch, Afternoon Snack Infants’ meals not provided. View our Menu

  13. Can staff administer medications to children? Yes, we have staff that are Medication Administration Training (MAT) Certified.

  14. Are Staff trained in CPR and First Aid? Yes, 16 Hours of CPR and First Aid Training.
