7. 1987—SETOC (State Education Telecommunications Operations Center) first EDNET on Microwave, Medical Grand Rounds, Evening Classes and Day class from Colleges, Tech Center, and High Schools.
8. 1992—Demonstration Projects for USOE in Distance Learning
9. 1993—US Congress Office of Technology Assessment studies Utah’s Distance Learning by Dr. Bruce Barker (Now Dean of Ed at SUU)
10. 1993—DuTel, Duchesne Telelearning System. Cooperative venture between Duchesne School District and Uintah Basin Telephone Association (Fiber Optics)
11. 1993—Governor Leavitt’s “Bicycle Speech at SUU. Proliferation of distance learning in Utah. Infrastructure of EDNET is established over next 5 years.
12. 1995—UENSS Satellite system from EDNET and USU broadcast 8 classes per hour simultaneously until 2006.
13. EDNET Backhauls classes to Logan.UENSS
14. 1995—UEN Steering Committee mandates training for ALL teachers on distance learning network (EDNET), particularly public education (George)
15. 1996—EHS formed. Electronic High School Dick Siddoway first principals.

17. 1997—Over 450 EDNET and UENSS sites throughout Utah and Intermountain West. Bandwidth expansion throughout SE Utah.
18. 1999—IP Video testing (H.323 protocol)
19. 2001—Conversion of EDNET fiber optic, microwave to IVC (interactive video conferencing—IP video
20. 2002—Gigabit backbone expansion and network redundancy….Logan to St. George.
21. Qwest informs UEN that prices will triple by 2006.
22. 2006—EDNET microwave goes Black. All distance learning in Utah is IVC (internet) H.323
