  3. Definitions • Minor – Anyone under the age of 18. • Child Pornography - A visual depiction of any kind, including a drawing, cartoon, sculpture, or painting, that depicts a minor engaging in any sexually explicit conduct.

  4. Laws • 1977 -The Sexual Exploitation of Children Act (18 U.S.C. 2251-2253) • 1984 - The Child Protection Act (18 U.S.C. 2251-2255) • 1986 - The Child Sexual Abuse and Pornography Act (18 U.S.C. 2251-2256) • 1988 - The Child Protection and Obscenity Enforcement Act (18 U.S.C. 2251-2256)

  5. Laws • 1990 - The U.S. Congress revised 18 U.S.C. 2252 • 1996 - Child Pornography Prevention Act • 2002 – Child Pornography Prevention Act abolished
