  4. Use comparatives to compare two things or people. We can modify comparative adjectives with a bit, a little, and slightly (these mean quite) and a lot, much and far (these mean very).

  8. To say that two things or people are the same, we often use as... as... We can use not as... as... to make a negative comparison.
