  2. Mission Statement The mission of Pacoima Charter is to create an environment that fosters high academic achievement among our students. The demands of the 21st Century require that our students posses essential skills in literacy, English proficiency, mathematics and technology.

  3. Vision Our vision is to become a vibrant community where teachers and parents are empowered with the knowledge and ability to positively impact the education of our children.

  4. Daily Schedule AM Pre-K 8:00 - 11:00 PM Pre-K 12:00 - 3:00 AM Kinder 7:45 - 12:10 PM Kinder 11:20 - 3:45 Grades 1-5 8:00 - 2:40 Gr. 1-5 on Tues. 8:00 - 2:10

  5. Medication A form must be signed by the parent and physician before school employees can administer prescription or over the counter medicines. Medication must be kept in the nurse’s office.

  6. Uniform Policy The Uniform Policy will be strictly enforced! The uniform consists of white or navy blue collared shirts and navy blue or khaki pants/skirts. Jeans are not allowed!

  7. Mandatory 30 Hour Parent Involvement 30 hours of parent involvement are required per family, per school year. Hours can be earned by participating in the following: *Family Literacy Night *Family Math/Science Night *Open House *Back to School Night *Visit a bookstore *Museum visits *Zoo visits *Attending a play *Library visits *Attending recitals *Classroom volunteer *Committee involvement
