One of the organizational PI measures examines fluoridevarnish application. • Dental team isfullysupporting and is sharing the healthylifestyle messages of 5210 with all patients. • EMR and DHR are bridged. • Dental staff have access to EMR. • Dental records scannedintomedical record.

  3. Challenges to Integration • 100% buy-in of SBHC team—lacking true physician champion—essential. • Trueintegration of EMR and DHR.

  4. Strategies Used to Address Challenges • Dental staff nowincluded on all SBHC teams/committees, medicaldirectorparticipates in organizational dental retreat. • Little progress—workarounds—anticipate change once all dental practices in organization are using the same DHR.
