  1. HELPING LIBRARY USERS WITH LEGAL PROBLEMS PART THREE INTERNET RESOURCES

  2. INTRODUCTION This is the third part of a three-part training series for public librarians. The purpose of the series is to give you the tools you need to help people in your communities who have legal problems Part One was designed to help you identify library users who may be experiencing legal problems. Part Two explained the difference between legal information and legal advice. It also gave you a general overview of our legal system. Part Three will give you information about Internet resources that library users can use to find professional help or to resolve their legal problems on their own.

  3. PRINCIPAL WEBSITES People with legal problems that are governed by Montana law can usually find the information and resources they need by starting with one or both of two websites: the State Law Library website and the Montana Law Help website. We will cover both of these websites in considerable detail during this session. We will also provide you with a list of other reliable websites that are geared to particular areas of law or to specific users.
