  5. Criteria • Must be in true fairy tale form • You may alter the storyline • You may add an unexpected twist • You may create a contemporary (modern) version • All elements of a story must be present • Visual Representation • As always it must be school appropriate 

  6. Steps • Select a fairy tale we read in class (Cinderella, Little Red Riding Hood, Hansel and Gretel) • Identify elements of a fairy tale of your story. Map these out on work sheet. • Brainstorm your ideas for the new story. • Create your fractured fairy tale

  7. Rubric • Correct grammar/punctuation 25 pts • Elements of a fairytales 25 pts • Based on a traditional fairytale 25 pts • Creativity/Illustration 25 pts
