INSTITUTE FOR ORAL HEALTH WHO WE ARE Mission:To Support the charitable educational, research and scientific endeavors of the American Dental Hygienists’ Association (ADHA) which will improve the public’s total health by increasing the awareness of and access to quality oral healthcare. Vision: The philanthropic foundation to advance professional excellence in dental hygiene education and research. Core Ideology: To advance the profession of dental hygiene through scholarships, research and service in collaboration with ADHA.

  3. LACE ‘EM UP • The Vitals • Date: Thursday, June 8 • Time: 7:30 Lineup | 8:00 Start • Location: Downtown Pittsburgh • Cost: $25 per runner/walker • Who: Everyone! • Attire: Running/athletic gear or team costumes • After Party: 9:00 p.m. | David Lawrence Convention Center

BUILD COMMUNITY, RAISE FUNDS, HAVE FUN! • Engage with family, friends, and colleagues and be part of an empowering, supportive, and fun event. • Raise funds for the ADHA Institute for Oral Health and reach our state/district goals. • Generate awareness of the role and function of today’s dental hygienist. • Donations fund research grants, community service grants, and scholarships. • Seek partnerships and build strong relationships to provide the highest quality programming and opportunities • Experience Pittsburgh and supplement the excitement of the ADHA’s CLL at the 93rd Annual Session!

REGISTER & START FUNDRAISING! • The Process • Set up a team, register online, collect donations, and spread awareness! • Through the In Motion: 5K Run, Walk, Fun event page, the ADHA has provided easily accessible links to a step-by-step review of the registration/fundraising process, the event registration/fundraising page, and a fundraising solicitation letter template.

  6. THE AFTER GLOW PARTY! • When: Immediately following the run/walk, roughly 9:00 p.m. • Where: David Lawrence Convention Center - Rooftop Deck • Who: Participants are admitted free! • How To Attend: Add to your CLL/AS meeting registration via Modify Registration option.

  7. MORE WAYS TO SUPPORT IOH! Donate With Your IOH Liaison • Your gift is 100% tax-deductible • Support ALL Institute programs with a gift to “Greatest Need” or pick your favorite program! • Be recognized on the Institute’s website & in our ACCESS magazine with our Donor Honor Roll (donations of $50+) Purchase Raffle Tickets • Proceeds support Institute programs • $1,500 Grand Prize, $1,000 Runner-Up, $500 Third Place • Drawing at the IOH/President’s Reception at CLL at the 93rd Annual Session • Please note: raffle purchases are not tax-deductible
