  2. The citizens of Thebus beg the king to lift the plaque. Lift the plaque! Please!

  3. For the plaque to be lifted the person who killed Laius has to be punished. Find my killer!

  4. The blind prophet blames Oedipus of the death of Laius. You are the one that killed Laius! I see a future of blindness, infamy, and wandering for you. I did not!

  5. I just killed a man that looked like Laius??? Jocasta tells Oedipus to ignore the prophecies. I was once told that Laius, my husband would die at the hands of our son, But my son died long ago.

  6. You will kill your father and marry your mother. One day an Oracle told Oedipus his destiny… Are you kidding me?

  7. So now I have to find my biological parents. The king and queen of Corinth aren’t your real parents! A messenger told Oedipus…

  8. Laius and Jocasta are your biological parents. Then a shepherd told Oedipus the heartbreaking news. Wow!

  9. Please kill me, I am miserable and blind forever. I can’t take it! Oedipus told Creon (the ruler of Thebus)…

  10. I won’t kill you, you must await your fate and see if you will be cast out of Thebus forever! Creon then told Oedipus his fate.
