Westfield Technology ProjectsCurrently Underway • Wireless Project – by September 1 • Equipment on order • Wiring scheduled to start Monday, June 18 • Network Security – by September 1 • Equipment on order • Security planning meetings underway • Increase District Internet Speed - by July 15 • Speed increase from 50Mbps to 100Mbps • New circuit ordered with vendor

Westfield Technology Projects/ Curriculum and Instruction Planned Professional Development • Science Probe Kits • STEM design challenge unit planning (problem-based learning), more • Apps for the iPad carts for all departments • Google suite of applications • Learning management Sites (Haiku, Coursesites, Moodle etc.) • Web-based collaborative sites (edmodo, WikiSpaces, etc.) • Formative assessment tools (testwizard, instant response clickers, etc.) • Much more and ongoing
