  2. NER 300 is an EU funding programme pooling together about EUR 2 billion for innovative low-carbon energy demonstration projects. NER 300has been conceived as a catalyst for the demonstration of environmentally safe Carbon Capture and Storage (CCS) and innovative renewable energy (RES) technologies. 39 project have been financed during 2 calls for proposals in 2012 and 2014.
