1960 – 1963 Three Type Locality Units were Published – 54 Localities Dr. H. V. Andersen of LSU was the Editor and Publisher of all three units.
1961Charles W. Stuckey, Jr. Appointed General Chairman Field Trip Committee Charlie held this position for four years and was replaced by Dick Zingula

1966Results of Committees Published in the GCAGS Transactions These papers laid the foundation for modern paleoecological evaluations At the 1966 Lafayette GCAGS convention more than half of the technical program was focused on paleocology. These papers were presented in a “Symposium on Paleoecology” organized by James H. Dorman.

1981– GCSSEPM Foundation Established Bob F. Perkins conceived the idea and processed all IRS paperwork for creating the Foundation. He was named Executive Director and served both the Society and Foundation in this capacity until his death on April 11, 1999
