North Central Region Healthcare Coalition (NCR HCC) Update Janelle and Lisa
HCC Updates • Meeting held March 29th with: • Co-chairs from MFHCC, Boulder HAMR and Tri County HCC • Reps from hospitals, behavioral health, EMS and Federally Qualified Health Centers (FQHCs)
North Central Region Healthcare Coalition (NCR HCC) • Structure and Governance Board: • One NCR HCC (led by a Governance Board) with three Chapters (made up of the current HCCs), using current NCR Committees (Public Health, Healthcare, EMS, etc.) to work on discipline specific issues and planning, and creating Workgroups as needed. • See DRAFT NCR HCC Governance Structure 03‐30‐17
Next Steps • Current plan to be shared at Colorado Healthcare Coalition Council meeting Friday, March 10th • Janelle and Lisa will be attending and share info with the MFHCC as needed
North Central Region Healthcare Coalition (NCR HCC) NCR HCC Chapters: • Boulder HAMR Chapter • TCHDHCC Chapter • MFHCC Chapter Membership: Anyone is welcome to join the NCR HCC. Funding and Fiduciary: TBD based on deliverables and approved distribution process.
North Central Region Healthcare Coalition (NCR HCC) Roles and Responsibilities of Governance Board: • Confirm governance structure • Develop/guide development of governance documents • Determine the fiscal agent and funding structure (sign-off on becoming a legal entity) • Set goals and objectives to meet capabilities • Strategize how to meet deliverables, delegate to the appropriate Chapters, Committees, or workgroups, and ensure completion of deliverables • Act as the Grant Review Committee • Participate, as needed, in the CO HCC Council
Next Steps • Need nominations for four MFHCC spots (hospital, public health, EMS and behavioral health). • At this point, we are looking for one representative on behalf of these disciplines. • If you are an ambulatory or LTC rep and are interested in being this representative for the region, please let Janelle and Lisa know. • Accepting nominations today or by follow up e-mail to Janelle and Lisa so all can be considered. • MFHCC will vote on nominations via Survey Monkey. • Janelle and Lisa will continue to share updates with MFHCC members.
Broomfield Discussion MFHCC Charter Excerpt: • Scope: The jurisdictional regions for the MFHCC will be the county boundaries of: • Clear Creek, Denver, Gilpin, Jefferson • Note: Additional counties may be added to the MFHCC upon discussion with the membership and approval by the Advisory Group. • Broomfield Public Health and Environment – This discussion was initiated by Broomfield Public Health to align more with the MFHCC. • Other Broomfield agencies may also become members or may remain in the Boulder HAMR.

Hazard Vulnerability Assessment (HVA) Tool Trainings • CDPHE Office of Emergency Preparedness and Response (OEPR) developed new HVA Tool for partners and stakeholders • In-person: HVA Tool Training following today’s MFHCC Meeting, 1:30-3pm, led by Michael Delgado • All MFHCC partners encouraged to attend • Webinar Options through June 1st: 9:30-11:00AM and 1:30-3:00PM each Tuesday and Thursday. *Let Lisa & Janelle know if you participate in a webinar.
PHED EX • Public Health Emergency Dispensing Exercise (PHED EX) – June 15-17, 2017 • Workgroup divided into two groups: 1. Denver PHED EX Workgroup 2. Jefferson/Clear Creek/Gilpin PHED EX Workgroup • Communication Drill Update – 800 MHz radio drill conducted March 22nd
