  1. Multi-Sensory Learning

  2. Active learning is better than a sit-down non-interactive approach to learning.

  3. The use of resources such as dummies and the first aid kit support our learning experience. The paramedic supported our learning by giving advice and support.

  4. By using images to support text that is written information can be taken in faster.

  5. By being able to interact with others we were able to share our ideas on this learning experience.

  6. Multi-sensory learning includes other forms of learning styles such as visual and active. Using these learning styles means all senses were used.

  7. By using an incentive such as being rewarded with a first aid certificate, meant the students in this learning experience were engaged throughout.

  8. Sadoski, Bracey and Baines support multi-sensory learning.

  9. This learning experience was positive as the students and I were focused throughout due to the different learning approaches used. Multi-sensory learning had a bigger impact on the students learning than textbook based learning.
