Support Self-advocacy Efforts and Infuse a Youth Component • Collaborate to develop a unified, holistic self-advocacy team • Support the Self-Advocacy Advisory Committee • Create and monitor the “Ask an Advocate” website • Initiate advocacy for sustainability in Years 2 and 3 • Address cultural sensitivity and awareness in all activities

  4. Personal Career Plan • Identify the most promising youth and enhance their capacity to be effective future leaders • Identify the strengths and Dreams of these youth and outlining a vision for accomplishing those Dreams in a sequential process (e.g. 1 yr, 5 yr.) • Identify additional educational goals, specific training, access to assistive technology, other community resources, and supports • Personal Career Plans evolve into the actualization of “My Voice, My Choice”
