Works Accomplished and Outcomes Completion of AIMS-II * Report on Generation System Study was circulated to Member Countries on 24 May 2010 * Minor corrections were made upon member comments and resubmitted to all members on 14 September 2010 * Member countries accepted AIMS-II results and reports prepared by PI SWG. * Submission of AIMS-II Final Results to member countries on November 2010 * AIMS-II can be used as a reference for implementation by concerned parties. Further studies are required to be carried out as necessary. Conclusions and Recommendations -The study indicates a saving of 788 MUSD with ASEAN interconnection network which is based on the data dated 29 September 2009. - It is noted that the nature of input for AIMS-II study is dynamic. The result should be referred to the date of data availability. - The final AIMS-II report shall be composed of 4 reports, Generation System Study, Transmission System Study, Appendix and Executive Summary.
Findings from the 4th Meeting of PI SWG • Issues to be completed by a week after the 4th Meeting • * The PI SWG Leader requested all member countries to provide the statistical data of peak demand (MW) and energy demand (GWh) for the first 6 months of 2010 to Thailand delegate for the data collection. • Issues to be examined by a week after the 4th Meeting • Assumptions for Energy Price/Fuel Price shall be examined/identified to be put in the generation study report • AIMS – II Report Structure is changed to: • Volume I – Executive Summary • Volume II – Generation Study Report • Volume III – Transmission Study Report • Volume IV – Appendices • - Terms of Reference - Power Interconnection Sub working Group • - Work Plan of Power Interconnection Sub Working Group • - Power Development Plans of ASEAN Member Countries • - Power Flow/Stability Diagrams (hard copy / CD files) 5
