2BA1 • Timetables
Lecture Times • All lectures start on the hour and finish ten minutes to the hour
Tutorials • Tutorials for particular modules (two per module) will take place over the course of the semester • Tutorials will start roughly 3 weeks into term (a timetable will be made available via Blackboard and the 2nd Year webpage) • Information on the modules involved will be provided by the coordinators of the relevant modules
Continuous Assessment • In some modules, a certain percentage of the marks for the module will be based on ‘Continuous Assessment’ - assignments (e.g., essays, mini-projects, quizzes etc.) that need to be done during the semester • You should make yourself aware of the deadlines for these and try to pace your work so that you can meet these deadlines

Submission Arrangements • Submitted work includes any assignments set by lecturers • All materials for examination -CA work e.g. essays - should be submitted into the School’sAssignment/Project Deposit Box at the Administrator’s Office • Unlessalternative arrangements are in place (e.g. submission via Blackboard using Turnitin)

Contribution of 2nd Year Mark At degree level, honours will be calculated on the basis of 30% of the aggregate mark obtained at the pre-final stage* Examination and 70% of the aggregate mark obtained at the final stage Examination. The standard will be based upon the following table: H1 70% on the aggregate H2.1 60% on the aggregate H2.2 50% on the aggregate H3 40% on the aggregate In other words, 2nd year contributes 30% to your overall degree mark! * Another year, other than the pre-final year, may be nominated for valid academic reasons with the approval of the Academic Regulations Committee.
