  15. Mawlynnong Ressort • Mawlnnong is the cleanest village in Asia • The hotel is like a big tree house • There are Western bathrooms, beds, and other amenities • But you have to bring your own supplies

  18. Shillong • Shillong is the capital of Meghalaya. Shillong was nicknamed the “Abode in Dawkii Landscape the clouds” by the British because of its location and climate. It sits 5,000 ft above sea level

  19. These are places to visit Elephant Falls Shillong peak The highest point in Shillong. From there you can see all of Shillong! • It is a big water fall where many local people go to picnic. The falls are prettiest during the summer in rainy season.

  20. Cherrapunjee/ Sohra • The second rainiest place in the world. • On the border of India and Bangladesh. • British changed name to Cherrapunjee from Sohra. • 4,500ft above sea level.

  21. Other places to visit Nohkalikai falls Krem Mawmluh The cave has a five-river way with amazing proportions. With a length of 4,503 m, it is the 4th longest cave in India. • One of the tallest waterfalls in India at 1100 ft. Legend says that a woman named Ka Likai threw herself off the waterfall.
