  2. “The Lovely Bones” I believe that “Death’s Guide” conforms and challenges thriller conventions, I will firstly compare it to “The Lovely Bones” and see what thriller conventions they may have in common. “The Lovely Bones” is a fantasy thriller I have chosen to compare our film to this one because they have a similar storyline.

  3. “The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo” I believe that “Death’s Guide” conforms and challenges thriller conventions, I will firstly compare it to “The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo” and see what thriller conventions they may have in common. This film is about a journalist who is helped in his quest to find a woman who has been missing, possibly dead for forty years by a young female hacker. It is a crime thriller I wanted to see what our opening sequence had in common with a different type of thriller.
