LatAmBIT Website Redesign & Improvement • Background • Startup company • Business Model: create international business/IT programs in Latin America for universities and students in the US • The first CalPoly IT class is scheduled to visit Costa Rica for 10 days in June, 2014 • We’re developing a business program in Argentina as another destination for Business and IT students • Objectives • Raise the quality of the company’s website to match the latest professional website designs and best practices • Redesign the content to quickly draw the visitor to the key activities and services that we provide • Examine options related to the website hosting and platform • Design it for easy updating and scaleability • Deliverables • A mockup of website design options with pros and cons of each option • Options regarding site hosting with pros and cons • Implementation of the new site
