( Spring). Tundra. Cathryn Payne. Climate. The temperatures in the tundra are extremely low. Only a few weeks at most have temperatures above freezing. The tundra area gets little precipitation. Most of the tundra’s precipitation comes in the form of snow. The tundra is the coldest biome.

  2. Climate • The temperatures in the tundra are extremely low. Only a few weeks at most have temperatures above freezing. • The tundra area gets little precipitation. Most of the tundra’s precipitation comes in the form of snow. • The tundra is the coldest biome. Fall Summer Spring Winter

  3. Vegetation • The vegetation for the tundra includes flowers, lichens, mosses, grasses, and shrubs. • All vegetation grows near the ground. lichens Moss Shrubs

  6. Location • The tundra biomes are located in the high altitudes. • They are also located in the northern hemisphere.
