This is great for studying for upcoming quizzes & tests. • A great ORGANIZATIONAL tool that gives you permission to be PLAYFUL AND CREATIVE in your responses without "messing up" your notes. • Allows you to be like a REAL SCIENTIST!

5. The notebook is divided into TWO sections. Left Side-Right Side: WHICH SIDE? • The Left SIDEis for student work. This is the side that you can use to show your creativity. This is the “output” or product side. It expands on what you learned. • The Right SIDE is contains only information given by the teacher. Nothing else should be placed on the RIGHT SIDE!! This is the side for teaching and learning.

6. RIGHT side is “restricted” to TEACHER INPUT LEFT side = STUDENT work = OUTPUT

7. LEFT SIDE Your response to the day’s activity is placed on the bottom left or output side of the notebook. This section acts as a reinforcement for the right or input side. You can design the left side any way you like unless specific guidelines are given.

Nothing else should be placed on this page! • The RIGHT SIDE will contain all the TESTABLE material. • Input on the right side can be found on the Important Information page of my website.

19. STEP 2 Setting up the Table of Contents and All About Me pages. All About Me should be on white paper located at the very front of the binder before any dividers.
