  3. Studies show that: • Satisfied employees tend to work harder, produce higher quality products and stay longer with the company • Employees of small and medium sized business tend to be more ‘satisfied’ then those that work in large businesses or the public sector (government)

  4. Factors Affecting Employee Attitude • All employees like to make decisions on their own – the more they are able to do so, the happier they are • Healthy and safe workplace • Employees work better in an atmosphere of fairness and trust and an employers’ commitment to quality

  5. Employees that feel that their work is appreciated and they themselves are valued are more productive • Employees need to have the right tools to use (proper equipment) and resources and to be treated with respect, trust and encouragement
