All very excited of the prospect at doing a TY musical. Firstly we watched the original version of “My Fair Lady” so we could an insight into musical Auditions were held by Ms. Lee and Ms. Jordan. We were required to sing a song and act out a section from the musical Parts were announced and preparations began Chorus’ rehearsed and costumes were prepared. Art students began working on the backdrops and sets. We all had to try and look for props at home to make the set look more realistic Main parts meanwhile were rehearsing in their own time Finally as the day of performances approached we began to stay back after school to run through each of the scenes A week before, we went to the T.F so we could practice on stage. Here we had the help of choreographer Hazel McGlynn.
