The Growth of Mold in several aerobic environment changes Zack Biegun
Introduction • We were asked to design an experiment in which we study mold growth. Mold is a bacterium that has many different strands. It can also grow on many different environments. However, mold particularly likes to grow in moist, dark environments on fertile surfaces. In this lab report I studied the affects of different levels of oxygenation on the growth of mold. Mores specifically I studied the affects of a constant supply of oxygen, some oxygen and no oxygen on the growth of mold on cheese. My hypothesis is that some mold will grow in all three conditions.

Conclusion • I found that mold will grow in no oxygen, some oxygen, and a constant supply of oxygen. However, in the constant supply environment the mold will grow fastest. In the no oxygen supply environment the mold will grow slowest, and in the some oxygen environment the mold will grow moderately fast. In future study of this experiment, I suggest that one try more environments, and keep the cheese with the constant supply of oxygen moist.
