  1. Joel Iwataki Sound Engineer

  2. Joel Iwataki built a boat at the age of 19 before becoming a music composer and he steered his boat to run a small clam cannery in the Prince William Sound. While doing so, he understood his passion for music and returned to California. On his return, he studied music and became a leading voice recording engineer.

  3. Joel Iwataki kept on uncovering his hidden talents and this is the reason why his journey has several transformations. He turned for a voice engineer to music composer and then to a mixer. The best part is that he excels in every role.

  4. Joel Iwataki returned to California in order to get his hands on the details of music at the Grove School in Los Angeles. He practiced composition and orchestration with film composers’ ìAlbert Harris and Richard Markowitz.

  5. Joel Iwataki learned several details from the aforementioned two composers and composed record-breaking successful records with them.

  6. Joel Iwataki Recorded and Mixed music scores in 2017 for the following films: Year Film/Credit (2018), The Darkest Minds (2018), Incredibles 2 (2017), COCO Winner: Cinema Audio Society Award for Outstanding Achievement in Sound Mixing for (2017), IT (2017), War For The Planet Of The Apes (2017), Spiderman: Homecoming (2017) and Annabelle: Creation (2017).
