Today’s Lesson: Learning how to set goals for yourself and help others to achieve their own goals Aevidum Words: Goals Effort
What is a goal? No, not that goal... Not that one either!
This is the goal we are talking about! A GOAL is something that you are trying to do or achieve. Goal setting is the process of deciding what you want to do or accomplish and creating a plan or steps to achieve these results!
Here are some real life examples: Mr. Resh: “My goal is to work out 3-4 times a week and eat healthier.”
Faculty/Staff Goal Setting Mrs. Beidler: “My goal is to create a 8x10 rug.”

A dream becomes a goal when action is taken toward achieving it.
Goal Discussion Discuss as a Class: • What are some classroom goals we can work towards in 2017? • What are some friendships goals you can have for yourself? • What are some student or academic goals your can set?
Aevidum is about helping our friends, teachers, and family to achieve their goals however we can help! I’ve got your back!
How can we help others to achieve their goals? • Learn about each other’s goals (ask questions!) • Give advice and ideas to help others with their goals • Provide positive encouragement and support to others • Be a coach or cheerleader! • Do not let that person give up on his or her goal! Help him or her to keep pushing forward toward their success
