  2. Agenda Report of the Secretary. Approval of the Minutes of April 13. Communication with the President. Comments. Questions. Report of the Chair. Report of the Chair Elect. Unfinished Business—None. Reports of the General Faculty, Colleges, Schools, and Committees—None.

  3. New Business • Approval of 2009-10 Meeting Dates • The Faculty Council will meet at 2:15 p.m. in Main Building, Room 212, on the following dates: • Monday, September 21, 2009 • * Monday, October 26, 2009 • Monday, November 16, 2009 • Monday, December 14, 2009 • Monday, January 25, 2010 • Monday, February 15, 2010 • Monday, April 12, 2010 • Monday, May 10, 2010 • Monday, June 14, 2010 • Monday, July 19, 2010 • Monday, August 16, 2010 • * The General Faculty meeting will be held on Monday, October 26, 2008, in Main 212, at 2:15 p.m., immediately following the annual photograph on the south steps of the Main Building. The Faculty Council meeting will follow the General Faculty meeting. • The Joint Meeting of the Faculty Council with the Texas A&M Faculty Senate is scheduled for March 1, 2010, and will be hosted by Texas A&M at College Station.

New Business Cont. • Cancellation of summer meetings of the Faculty Council . • Announcements and Comments. • Annual Reports of the General Faculty Standing Committees are due in the Office of the General Faculty. • 2009-10 Faculty Council members’ preferences for Standing Committee appointments are due. • Next year, the Joint Meeting with Texas A&M's Faculty Senate will be held at College Station on March 1, 2010; continuing members be sure to mark your calendars. It is an all day event. • Questions to the Chair. • Adjournment.
