Eligible areas to the support of the EU Cohesion policy post 2014 • 10 MS (except EE) think that all EU Member States/regions should be eligible • EE has an opinion that focus should clearly be on the less developed regions and MS 4
Future EU Cohesion Policy assistance - proportionally divided between objectives? 5
Any role for CP to play in solving the consequences of the global challenges? 6
GDP per capita in PPS – the best eligibility criterion? • 6 MS (CZ, EE, LT, LV, PL, HU) have an opinion that GDP per capita in PPS isproven and reliable indicator • 5 MS (BG, CY, MT, RO, SK) - GDP should remain the main indicator, however other indicators should be considered as well 7

Implications of territorial cohesion concept to changes for the future Cohesion policy • The principles of the Cohesion policy should be reviewed(PL, CY) • Slight changes are needed(CZ, SK) • The main goal of the Cohesion policy should remain the same(BG, HU, LT, LV, MT, RO) 11
