  2. Queen Victoria Queen Victoria was only 18 when she was promoted to the Queen of England .Her most famous words were “I will be good’’ . She was 40 in this photo. She isn’t a very sociable person she wasn't allowed any friends in her childhood she was home-school her closest people to friends were her teachers.

  3. Marriage and Sorrow Depressingly Albert died on the 14th of December 1861 from TB . At the age of 21, Victoria married her cousin, Albert of Saxe-Coburg Gotha, a German Prince. They married on the 10th February 1840 at the Chapel Royal in St. James's Palace. This is a picture of Victoria , her husband Albert , their dog Dash, and five of their nine children.

  4. Victorian Employment Rich jobs were very seldom in those days especially in Willen 1881 . Here is a table of some of them.

  5. Most poor Victorian toys were hand-made , small things such as marbles rocking horses (with real horse mane hair) and dolls with straw. The kids would save up their little pocket money to buy clothe peg dolls and wooden toys. Victorian ToysPOOR

  6. Rich Toys During Victorian times, people became fascinated by toys that made pictures move. One of the earliest and simplest of these was the thaumatrope. This is a disc with a picture on either side that is attached to two pieces of string or a stick. When you spin the disc quickly, the two pictures appear to combine into one .

  7. Victorian School The school in them days were very strict . They were expected to stand in silence copy off the board and not question the teacher or talk . If a teacher came in they would stand up . The boys and girls were also separated.

  8. More on Her Life And Death Did you know Victoria’s child Leopold died from Haemophilia in 1917 . It was a blood clot disease . When Victoria was born there was no train tracks when she died all the ones there is now she built .
