Activities of the German Node 2010/11 • SOF 2010: PR– international launch together with Bertelsmann at Berlin • Studies contribution: • LA Scenarios • Arts and Media • Regional Challenges • German Node: New member – Bertelsmann Foundation • Millennia 2015: development of variables, promotion and support • European Millennium Project Nodes initiative: Poss. Spotlight: Node Profiles Slide Set • Builds on GLOBAL MILLENNIUM PROJECT NODES SURVEY from 2010, conducted by the German Node • Providing a map of all MP Nodes, which contains information on the Nodes‘ activities, members and contact information • Showing the extent of the international foresight network • Fostering communication and cooperation among MP Nodes • Next Step: Identifying possibilities for cooperation by mapping mutual thematic interests
Map of Potential Future Cooperation Projects • Based on the answers from the Millennium Project Nodes Survey • Each node reported back on what topics it wants to work on in the future • “Please, name up to 4 general and recent future topics from your area that you find especially interesting and important” • Identifying of clusters, which could be worked on jointly by several nodes • First results (draft): • Impacts of the financial crisis (Brazil, Argentina) • Education (Azerbaijan, Bolivia, Brussels Area, Malaysia) • Innovation (Finland, Brazil, South Africa) • Climate Change (Bolivia, Finland) • SustainableDevelopment (Brazil, Central Europe I) • Energy (Azerbaijan, Canada, Finland, France) • Food (India, UK)
