FDSN MEMBERSHIP

The IASPEI Meeting in Cape Town presents a great opportunity for FDSN to invite African institutions to join. Although not all invited institutions will be present, efforts will be made to increase the number of stations and address station operators. FDSN views and opinions are needed on the proposed new XML standard and network coded document. FDSN's participation in GEO publications and maintaining presence in GEO is crucial.
